Rise Anyway: The Power of Elevating Before You Are Ready

April 10, 20265 min read

Being an entrepreneur can be…

…beautiful, exhausting, fulfilling, overwhelming—and everything in between.

Because before we are CEOs…
before we are visionaries…
before we are building brands and legacies…

We are mothers.
Grandmothers.
Wives.
Sisters.
Friends.

We show up for everyone else first.

And somewhere at the bottom of that list comes me.

Taking care of me.
Listening to me.
Honoring what I need.

And if we’re honest… that part often gets pushed aside.

Last week, I had a moment.

I missed my newsletter.
I didn’t get as much done as I planned.
And I was navigating medication that made me feel completely off along with underlying autoimmune issues! YES... Entrepreneurs have those issues too!

For a second, I felt that familiar pull to beat myself up. But instead, I chose something different. I decided to reflect because even in the middle of not feeling my best, I was able to still show up to an event last Friday which was difficult beyond measure!

While there, one of the speakers shared something I will not forget. He talked about wearing new shoes that were hurting his feet. Then, mid-talk, he stood up on a chair.

And he asked: “When I stepped up… did my shoes stay on the ground?”

No.

They went with him.

And that’s when it clicked.

When you elevate… everything comes with you.

Your doubts.
Your discomfort.
Your imperfect circumstances.
Your not-quite-ready mindset.

You don’t have to wait for alignment to take action.

You don’t have to feel perfect to move forward.

You simply have to rise.

That moment gave me permission.

  • Permission to give myself grace.

  • Permission to honor where I was.

  • Permission to do the best I could for that day—and keep going.

So... over Easter weekend, I leaned into that fully.

  • I slowed down.

  • I created space.

  • I allowed myself to breathe, reflect, and restore.

And it was exactly what I needed.

Because in that space… clarity came.

What’s Coming Next… Is Bigger Than Ever

After taking that time, I asked myself a powerful question:

How can I serve you at the highest level with the bandwidth I have without sacrificing alignment?

And the answers opened the door to something bigger.

Because what we’re building isn’t just content.
It’s not just events.

It’s a visibility movement.

And you are at the center of it.

🔥 The Visibility Expansion Has Begun
